Well, a few more days and my baby girl moves to B.C. Kinda getting to me. Tears flowing unexpectedly, grouchy, you know what I mean. I can't believe they will all be gone by Friday!

It doesn't help knowing they are doing what is best for them and I know they are happy and gutsy to do this. I wish I had done it when I was young. Maybe I would feel better about it. I know I am just being selfish but I love them sooooo much and will miss them terribly.

I can't believe it is so quiet around here. Grace and Chris left for Alberta this morning and I am a mess! I still get weepy sometimes. I miss her little footsteps coming into our room and crawling into bed with us. Then "Grandma, I'm hungry. Will you make me breakfast?"

I know this is a great opportunity for the kids but oh my god, my heart aches. I should just look forward to a visit out there. It will get easier each day. But then I have to contend with Amanda leaving on her move to B.C. !  Think of all the places I can go visit!  Road Trip next year!!??

OMG! What a weekend. 2nd Annual Inspection on  Saturday. Everything went off without a hitch but  boy, were we exhausted  by the end of it all. I had to come home and have a shower and a rest before we went out to dinner.

We had a great time at dinner and I really enjoyed talking to John Scott and his wife. What wonderful people.

And does John ever have a great sense of humour. Very funny.

Today is Father's day and Sonny received the cutest card from Gracie. And Amanda called this morning which made his day. Just going to relax for the rest of the day. (After I make breakfast)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the wonderful father's I know. Love you all.

What a day! Busy busy. Lots of patients and trying to keep track of all of them. Well, I did ok. Had to work a bit longer than usual but what the heck.

Annual is on Saturday and we have practice again tomorrow night. Then hopefully off to the RR for some R & R.
